Light Up the Night from Charlottesville to Chinatown: No Hate.
August 25, 2017 – The “Light Up the Night from Charlottesville to Chinatown: No Hate” program and candlelight vigil were held at the Chinese Culture Center and on the Lowe Community Bridge on Friday, Aug. 25, 2017. Held on the eve of the “Patriot’s Prayer,” a right-wing rally set for Crissy Field, “Light Up the Night” attracted nearly 300 people to stand in solidarity with anti-white supremacists protesters in Charlottesville, Virginia. Heather Heyer, a white woman protester, died from injuries suffered as a white supremacist drove his car into the crowd.

Unity Statement
The essay “Trump’s Anti-Immigrant Campaign: Will We Repeat A Historic Mistake?” is written by historian and author Judy Yung. Our coalition, No More Exclusion!, has embraced it as a Unity Statement because it connects past injustices with the present and articulates the values that we wish to uphold.
We also thank Ruthanne Lum McCunn, who helped Judy Yung with the essay and the list of educational resources.
