We are pleased to present a proclamation declaring May 6 as a Day of Inclusion in Seattle, Washington. We wish to thank the OCA - Greater Seattle for their work in securing the unanimous support of the Seattle City Council to affirm immigrant and refugee rights.
We wish to thank Munson Kwok and Annie Yee, President of the Chinese American Citizens Alliance – Los Angeles Lodge, for bringing the May 6 commemoration of the Chinese Exclusion Act before the Los Angeles City Council. On April 28, the LA City Council passed a resolution to declare May 6 a Day of Inclusion. On May 10, the community will have an opportunity to thank the LA City Council members and talk about the importance of upholding the value of immigration and cultural diversity. Join CACA on May 10 at 10 am at City Council chambers on the third floor of City Hall.
